Privacy Policy

Draft — pending legal review. This document is a working draft and must be reviewed by a qualified attorney before it is considered final.
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information testfortalent.ai (“we”, “us”) collects when you use our hiring platform, how we use it and the choices you have. It applies to candidates and to employers (CEOs and hiring teams).
1. Information We Collect
- Account details: first and last name, email address, password (stored encrypted) and account type.
- Employer details: company name, industry, company size and job title.
- Candidate profile: phone, location, headline, bio, desired role, salary expectations, availability, skills and resume details.
- Aptitude assessment answers and trait scores.
- Interview scheduling details and your acceptance of our terms (date, time and version).
- Technical data: device, browser, IP address and cookies (see our Cookie Notice).
2. How We Use Information
- To create and secure your account and provide the platform.
- To match candidates with roles and help employers review applicants.
- To send service emails such as verification, password reset and interview confirmations.
- To improve, monitor for bias and protect the platform.
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. How We Share Information
We share candidate information with employers only for roles the candidate is considered for. We use trusted service providers (hosting, email delivery, AI processing) bound by contracts to protect your data. We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
4. AI-Assisted Evaluation
testfortalent.ai uses artificial intelligence to help employers review candidates — for example, to extract information from a resume, match skills to a role and estimate candidate-role-company compatibility. AI outputs are recommendations only. Hiring decisions are always made by people at the employer, who remain responsible for them. Candidates may ask for a human review of how their information was evaluated by writing to privacy@testfortalent.ai.
5. The Aptitude Assessment
The Aptitude assessment measures five work-related traits on a 0–100 scale to describe how a person tends to work, communicate and collaborate. It is not a clinical or psychological diagnosis, it does not assess health or disability, and it should never be used as the sole reason to hire or reject someone.
6. Who Can See Candidate Results
- The candidate can always see their own profile and Aptitude assessment results.
- Employers (CEOs and authorized hiring team members) can see results only for candidates who are being considered for or have applied to their open roles.
- A limited number of testfortalent.ai staff may access data to operate, secure and support the service, under confidentiality obligations.
- We never sell candidate results or make them public.
7. Data Retention
We keep account, profile and assessment data while your account is active. If an account is inactive for 24 months, or once you ask us to delete it, we delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where we must keep limited records to comply with law, resolve disputes or enforce our agreements.
8. Your Deletion and Access Rights
You can ask us at any time to access, correct, export or delete your personal information — including your Aptitude assessment results — by using our data request form or by emailing privacy@testfortalent.ai with the subject line "PAI deletion request". We confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond within 45 days. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
9. Equal Opportunity
testfortalent.ai is built to support fair, merit-based hiring. Our models are not given and do not use protected characteristics such as race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability or veteran status. We monitor outcomes for bias, and employers using the platform agree to comply with all applicable equal employment opportunity and anti-discrimination laws.
10. Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls that let each user see only their own data, and regular reviews. No system is 100% secure; please tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
11. Children
The platform is intended for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
12. California Residents
California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA. See our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page.

14. CVs, AI Processing and Aptitude Assessment Data
When you upload a CV, it is processed by an AI service, Google Gemini, provided through Lovable's AI service, only to pre-fill your profile (for example work experience, education and skills). Nothing is saved to your profile until you have reviewed and corrected the suggested information and chosen to save it.
Your CV is stored privately. It has no public link, and you can replace or delete it at any time from your profile. Deleting it removes the file from our storage.
An employer can access your CV only when you apply to, or are invited to, one of that employer's jobs, and only through a short-lived link that expires after a few minutes.
The same rule applies to your Aptitude assessment data: your answers and results are visible to you, and an employer can see your Aptitude assessment results only when you apply to, or are invited to, one of that employer's jobs. Your Aptitude assessment results describe work preferences and are not a medical or psychological diagnosis.
